History:
BSA was founded on February 8, 1910. Each February, Scouts across the country celebrate Scouting Anniversary Week by holding the Blue and Gold banquet. The annual Blue and Gold banquet is the highlight of the year, celebrating the pack’s anniversary, recognizing pack leaders and other adults who have been instrumental in the pack’s success, and to inspire the leaders, Scouts, and parents. Packs often like to invite former members and other Scouting or community leaders to take part in the annual Blue and Gold banquet.
