Privacy
Boy Scouts of America is very concerned about the privacy of all members and about protecting the identities of youth members.
Pack 471 has implemented the following standards in addition to the Atlanta Area Council Rules for Internet Scouting Web Sites to help us both protect our youth members and allow them to be recognized for their accomplishments.
- No picture and personal information will be displayed together. This is an Atlanta Area Council rule but bears repeating here.
- No names of Scouts will be displayed on the web. This is related to the Boy Scout Youth Protection Policy and the BSA policy against releasing the names of its members in a public forum.
- Under no circumstances shall the address or personal phone number of any youth be published on the internet. Phone numbers of adult members may only be published with permission.
- A talent release must be obtained for all persons shown in photos .
If you have questions of concerns about these standards please contact us via the form provided on this website.
